Canada Drugs − Government Controlled Healthcare Inspires America, Almost

Canadian pharmacies are regulated by their government, just as their entire healthcare system is. The government-run healthcare in Canada seemed like it was going to inspire America, and specifically President Obama, to offer the same type of solutions for the millions of Americans who don’t have healthcare coverage. However, the American legislation seems to have fallen short, still too focused on capitalism and keeping insurance companies in business. Instead of giving everyone healthcare coverage as a simple part of their citizenship, the new healthcare laws are changing healthcare to mandate everyone to purchase coverage on their own accord.

The government is going to sponsor healthcare plans for citizens, but at a cost. Once again, it seems that the great United States has proven that everything is about the almighty dollar. While providing a healthcare system like Canada offers would be a lot of work and require a great deal of change, it would also be much more effective. Canada drugs and online pharmacies are easier than ever to find, and the prescriptions are much more affordable than they would be in the U.S. For this reason, many people have started buying their medications online in order to save money.

Of course, Canada drugs do not include controlled substances, a list of DEA-regulated prescriptions like Xanax, Valium, and OxyContin that are required to be prescribed and picked up at a U.S. pharmacy in order to regulate the use and dispersion of them. Some people will find Canadian and international pharmacy services that will offer to sell these medications with and without a prescription, but these pharmacies are performing illegal transactions by doing so whether they realize it or not. As the new healthcare bill comes into play in America, more people will be able to get the medications and healthcare that they need, but at what cost?

With so many people uninsured or underinsured, ordering Canada drugs without a prescription is very tempting for people who can’t afford the doctor bills and prescription costs combined. While the healthcare bill is a valiant effort, it’s still going to cost U.S. citizens a lot of money and it isn’t anything like Canada’s free government-sponsored healthcare system. If more countries had healthcare systems like Canada’s because people could get the care that they need, regardless of financial ability.
